   Construction Specialties, Inc. was established in 1955 by Martin Smith, Sr. After his death in 1982, Martin Smith, Jr. changed the name to Masonry Specialties to reflect the narrowed scope of the type of work the company performs. Martin, Jr. was raised through the trades as a restoration mason and choose to define the company as a masonry restoration specialist. Since the original inception, the company has been based on customer service and quality craftsmanship.
   Restoring your brick home or building to its original majesty is an important step in preserving the past as well as making your home or building safe and solid for the future. Costs may vary but quality speaks for itself. The decision you make should last a lifetime.
   If that time is now, you must choose to have it done right. If a masonry structure is restored or rebuilt with shoddy craftsmanship, there is often nothing that can be done to "fix" the problem.
   Masonry Specialties, Inc. operates crews from Seattle and services a three-county area: King, Pierce and Snohomish. We are happy to consult with you on any job you have in mind.
